New PTC Study Session Documents Posted

We have uploaded several Planning and Transportation Commission (PTC) Study Session documents reviewing policies and programs of the Comprehensive Plan.  The City of Palo Alto is in the process of reviewing and updating the policies and programs of each element of the Comprehensive Plan.   The process of review will be conducted in two phases:

The second workshop for the California Avenue Concept Area plan was held on Tuesday night, June 23, at the Lucie Stern Community Center.  Approximately 55 community members attended.

Two New Background Reports Posted

We just posted two new reports on the Comprehensive Plan Amendment website.  The first is the Fiscal Background Report and the second is the Retail Background Report.  Both of these are for use throughout the amendment process.  In particular, the Fiscal Background Report covers the fiscal impacts of different land uses in Palo Alto, and evaluates the City's budget.  This information will be helpful as the Comprehensive Plan Amendment looks at limited land use changes within the Concept Plan Areas (California Avenue and Ea

East Meadow Circle Workshop Update

Hello and welcome to the new Comprehensive Plan Amendment website.  The Amendment process is just getting under way with review of background materials and preparation of a series of white papers covering key issues.  The white papers will be reviewed by the Planning and Transportation Commission before they are completed.
