On October 4th, 2011 key stakeholders representing many community organizations, commissions and foundations that support Community Services in Palo Alto met to discuss the Community Services Element as part of the City's Comprehensive Plan Amendment effort.
New PTC Study Session Documents Posted (January 8, 2010)
We have uploaded several Planning and Transportation Commission (PTC) Study Session documents reviewing policies and programs of the Comprehensive Plan. The City of Palo Alto is in the process of reviewing and updating the policies and programs of each element of the Comprehensive Plan. The process of review will be conducted in two phases:
Two New Background Reports Posted (May 7, 2009)
We just posted two new reports on the Comprehensive Plan Amendment website. The first is the Fiscal Background Report and the second is the Retail Background Report. Both of these are for use throughout the amendment process. In particular, the Fiscal Background Report covers the fiscal impacts of different land uses in Palo Alto, and evaluates the City's budget. This information will be helpful as the Comprehensive Plan Amendment looks at limited land use changes within the Concept Plan
Report from first California Avenue Workshop (February 18, 2009)
The first workshop for the California Avenue Concept Plan was held on Thursday night, February 12th, at Lucie Stern Community Center. Approximately 50 people attended the workshop, which was focused on gathering community input on issues to be considered and studied in the California Avenue Concept Plan .
