The second workshop for the California Avenue Concept Area plan was held on Tuesday night, June 23, at the Lucie Stern Community Center.  Approximately 55 community members attended.

The workshop opened with a presentation summarizing the Comprehensive Plan Amendment process and providing an overview of previous California Avenue workshop, held on February 12th.   The presentation also described the various Comprehensive Plan land uses discussed during the small group exercises.  The presentation is available here.

Following the presentation, participants broke into three different sets of small groups, based on their desired level of new housing in the Plan Area.  Using colored paper and markers, workshop participants made suggested changes to Comprehensive Plan land use maps.  Following the small group exercise, the groups reconvened and representatives reported back on their efforts.  A summary of the main points discussed during this session can be downloaded here.
