We have recently posted two important background reports on the Comprehensive Plan Amendment website.  The first is the Sustainability Background Report and the second is the Community Services Background Report.  Both of these are for use throughout the amendment process.  In particular, the Sustainability Background Report summarizes existing services, programs, policies and initiatives in Palo Alto that address sustainability, and identifies ways in which these components can be incorporated into the Comprehensive Plan Amendment.
