Housing Element
The Housing Element is one of the seven required elements of a local Comprehensive Plan. Under State law, local governments are required to plan for how they will accommodate existing and projected housing needs of all socioeconomic levels within the community. Palo Alto City staff are currently updating the Housing Element in a process parallel to the Comprehensive Plan Amendment, and expects to complete the draft Housing Element in June 2009.
